Circulate provides a collection service within Torfaen for all unwanted bulky household Items such as sofas, beds wardrobes and more. These are then cleaned, repaired and sold on at a low cost to the public from our showroom. Renovated white goods are also available.
Circulate are now diverting over 180 tonnes of waste from landfill each year by reuse and recycling. The project aims to not only drive forward a clean and green Torfaen but a project to alleviate material poverty of the poorest and most disadvantaged members of our community.
The Garnsychan Wellbeing Hub based at GarnsychanHQ was created following the impact of the recent global pandemic and the increasing cost of living.
It has become clear how many people in our Community needed support and assistance but were unaware of where to seek help.
In order to simplify the process, we created a one-stop platform where people could find the help and support, they needed from a single trusted source.
At Garnsychan HQ the community can access support through the Wellbeing Hub.
We hold our Fareshare on a Thursday between 10am - 12pm, Come along and have a chat to us and find out how we can help!
Supported by The National Lottery Community Fund, Connecting with Friends is our weekly lunch club for older residents. Held across community venues in the area.
Residents are invited to come along and enjoy some fresh, warming food from local business, Front Row Food and entertainment from a wide selection of artists at Musicare.
Something for everyone, a perfect place to make new friends in a safe and welcoming environment.

No one should ever have to make the decision between heating and eating. With the recent energy prices hikes along with the cost of living being at it's highest in 30 years we are responding to the crisis many households are faced with.
During these turbulent times we are working in partnership with The Fuelbank Foundation.
Garnsychan Fuelbank can support residents at risk of "disconnection" of their pre-payment meter through an emergency voucher.
The support is available to residents of the Aberyschan, Talywain and Garndiffaith area irrespective of circumstances.
If support is required - please reach out to us and we can help!
Garnsychan Warm-up will support residents most at risk of fuel poverty.
No one should be cold, or have to choose between heating their home or cooking a warm meal.
Parents will often sacrifice heating their homes if their children are at school.
We are here to help.
FREE Slow Cookers, Blankets, Flasks and Hot water bottles available to anyone in need.
These will be offered to anyone accessing support through our Foodbank and Fuelbank services!
Simply reach out to us and we will help in anyway we can!
Our diners celebrated in style to mark the Queens Platinum Jubilee.
Our 1st party at Cwmavon Village Hall was packed full of singing and dancing along to songs from the 50's right through to more recent hits.
The 2nd celebration at Millennium Hall Garndiffaith had everyone up on their feet dancing and singing - what more could you ask for to brighten up a Tuesday afternoon!
It certainly was the highlight of this year and everyone had a fantastic time.
Huge thanks to Asda Community Foundation for the generous donation to the Connecting with Friends project for our jubilee festivities.

1 in 10 women cannot afford to buy period products.
· Lockdown has exacerbated the already prevalent problem of period poverty in the UK.
We are committed to making these statistics a thing of the past!
